Inauguration of Property Verification Center (PVC) in Islamabad for real estate fraud
DC Islamabad, Mr Hamza Shafqaat, dispatched Pakistan’s first state of the art online property verification Center (PVC). The capital organization on Wednesday began property confirmation to counter land-related fraud in the city, which took place at Facilitation Centre in the DC Office.
PVC is a joint venture of the capital administration and CDA, and a gateway has been made having records of land and housing societies of the CDA and the capital organization. People are also requested to utilize the CityApp dispatched by the organization.
According to the DC, overseas Pakistanis and residents in other parts of the country are the main victims of such land frauds in the capital, adding that greater part of these societies had either been announced unlawful or didn’t fall in the locale of Islamabad.
Ghouri Town is the greatest land/lodging fraud throughout the entire existence of the capital, the DC said, adding that it was illegal and the CDA had already mentioned it on its site yet individuals actually purchased land there.
